As per title, i’m tickled to re blog back to continue what i think shouldn’t be continued. I happened to walk around blogosphere of my circle friends. Surprisingly, many has changed (well, i shouldnt be surprised actually). Then, i came to an interesting blog with a provocative entry. Lately i have no talk with this person especially when my final year comes in front of my eyes. I have been busy, and have no story to talk. I casually avoid some people as i dont want to talk about something which can turn me uncomfortable. It turned out that that guy has proclaimed not to feel me as his/her person anymore by waving his/her no-more-being-friend goodbye. Well, please curse me till you satisfy. Perhaps i will open a new blog to start off my new chapter of life. See ya! (And dont be bothered to know the reason why i blogged about this ;p)

I surprisingly happened to compose a poem depicting my utmost gratitude to Allah after looking back my past and present life. I did some introspection, during exam, and cant refrain myself not to make a personal token of gratitude of mine. Besides, i found that there’s someone who really needs this poem just like what i did in the past. So, i wanna share with my dearest reader outta there, regardless you guys like it or not. It’s personally my expression towards My dearest Almighty, The One Allah SWT. Here it is :

Well, i know i have broken my promise not updating my blogs during my havoc exam. . I just cant stand to wait and spread a great news to my fellows in IT field of IT fans until 30th of May to join an open source conference held by MDeC and MSC Malaysia. I finally got updated news regarding my fellow MMUian who got severe car accident in His Hometown in Pahang. I’m really sad and sorry to hear the news since 3 days ago, keep waiting to get the update info from my circle of friend who visited him. Alhamdulillah, My senior Mohd Hamdan managed to report the follow up news after visiting Mong. Those who wanna know, visit Abang Hamdan’s Blog (In malay language.Those who wanna understand it, leave a comment. I will translate it). Mong, please accept my sincerest and deepest condolence to what happened to you. I understand how big storms in your life you are facing to, as of now. I could only pray the best to you and to ask you keep in faith and tawakkalallah. All the best for your fight in your current hardest,toughest time you are encountering. Keep your spirit in faith, moving on. Allah is always with Us.

GCD Algorithm is Euclid’s (Euclidean). Lab test Computer Programming I (TCP 1231)

Today, when i was half sleeping, my junior buzzed me thru YM asking one of the question in his lab test. I dont know why and how he managed to get himself online so he can ask me this question. Well, since i was asked i just simply answer then. The question is about How to get GCD (Greatest Common Divisor) between 2 integers. The answer is : apply Euclidean Algorithm.

GCD is something like this : When you have 33 and 21 in your hands, what is the greatest common integer which can divide both of those two integer? The answer is 3. We can get it thru using Euclid’s (Euclidean) Algorithm. In Programming not only the result is important, but also the algorithm itself. Algorithm is like a step-by-step procedure to achieve some goals. Simple saying, a recipe of a cooking/dish is also “an algorithm” for culinary word. So, to get GCD we must formulate these steps in the previously said algorithm :

1) We assume they are positive nonzer0. Then, Here we can say 1st integer is m and 2nd one is n

if one of them is zero, then the gcd will be the nonzero number between those two.

2) set the greater and smaller integer between those two positive nonzero.

3)reduce the greater with the smaller until the greater now equals or less than the smaller. if so, swap the greater to become the smaller, and the smaller vice versa.

4) iterate the step above until one of them is equal with zero or less.

hence, the other number will be the GCD.

illustration:

100 and 36. What is the GCD?

greater = 100, smaller = 36. so, 100-36-36 = 28. now the greater (28) is lesser than smaller (36). swap them. now the greater is 36 and smaller is 28. do the same as before ( 36 – 28). it yields the greater now is 8 and the smaller is 28. swap again. now greater is 28, smaller = 8. do the same operation as before ( 28-8-8-8). The remainder is 4 before it subtracts 28 eventually become -4 ( As the remainder is only 4 then if we still keep subtracting it then is -4 which terminate the looping process). So the remainder becomes the GCD.

Finally, i implement these steps in a C++ program to determine the GCD :

Assalamu’alaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
Salam Mahasiswa!!

Pada tanggal 10 Mei 2009 yang bertepatan dengan masa tengah-tengah jelang final exam trimester 3 2008/2009, bertempat di Dewan Pusat Perkuliahan (Central Lecture Hall Center (CLC) B1) MMU kampus Melaka, Malaysia PPI Cabang Melaka telah menyelenggarakan sebuah forum diskusi dan workshop ringan tentang penulisan novel bertemakan : ” Melahirkan penulis-penulis muda nusantara”. Acara ini terselenggara berkat kerjasama dengan PPI Malaysia sebagai salah satu kegiatan resmi yang menjadi agenda kerja PPI Malaysia bekerja sama dengan PPI cabangnya yang didukung pula oleh Konsulat Jendral Republik Indonesia (KJRI) di Johor. Dalam workshop ini, PPI MMU Melaka dan PPIM mengundang 3 pembicara yang merupakan penulis novel yang sudah banyak menghasilkan karya-karya yang berkualitas. Mereka adalah Tria Barmawi (Indonesia), Ummu Hani Abu Hassan (Malaysia), dan Alwi Alatas (Indonesia). Namun sayangnya Tria Barmawi berhalangan hadir karena suatu hal sehingga pembicara menjadi dua orang dari rencana semula yang 3 orang.Hadir dalam workshop tersebut delegasi dari KJRI Johor yakni acting counsuler KJRI dan staff beliau serta perwakilan dari PPI Malaysia yakni Bapak Samheri Ismail. Turut hadir pula kawan-kawan dari Ummu Hani termasuk Artis Nasyid yang tengah naik daun di Malaysia Farrah Leia Az-zahra.Dari Kedatangan hanya dua orang penulis ini, tak lantas membuat suasana menjadi sepi namun tetap memancing antusiasme pelajar-pelajar Indonesia di kampus MMU Melaka yang terbukti dari keberagaman pertanyaan dan respon yang terlihat sebagai bentuk antusiasme terhadap materi yang disampaikan. Dialog-dialog berjalan lancar dan hidup diikuti dengan semangat oleh para peserta. Sesi materi dibuka oleh Alwi Alatas yang mengetengahkan tentang kisah hidupnya sampai mampu menghasilkan belasan karya sejak mulai menulis dari 2001 hingga kini. Beliau juga menyoroti dan membagi tips perihal motivasi penulis muda yang mulai terjun dalam bidang menulis novel ini. Diskusi ini menghasilkan kesimpulan agar para penulis muda tidak sungkan dan ragu untuk mulai menulis dengan banyak membaca sebagai jalan mencari inspirasi yang efektif sebagai masukan penulisan kelak. Selesai dengan sesi ini, acara kemudian memasuki masa jeda selama satu jam untuk istirahat, sholat, dan makan. Selesai jeda acara, sesi dilanjutkan oleh Ummu Hani yang berbagi pengalaman beliau yang mulai menulis sejak umur 7 tahun atau kelas 1 SD, waktu beliau ditugaskan ibunya utnuk menjaga adik-adiknya.Beliau juga menggarisbawahi tentang bagaimana membawa aspek hijrah dan musafir sebagai sarana mencari inspirasi. Beliau banyak bercerita tentang perjalanannya ke berbagai negara, termasuk Indonesia, dan kemudian merekam jejak setiap kenangan dan inspirasi dalam bentuk novel. Salah satunya yang beliau ceritakan secara detil adalah Syiria (Suriah) yang sampai menghasilkan Novel Berarak Awan Suriah. Bila Alwi alatas banyak membaca sebagai sumber insprasi, Ummu Hani juga menunjukkan bahwa perjalanan ke berbagai negara juga dapat menjadi sarana efektif untuk mendapatkan inspirasi menulis novel. Tak kurang banyak karya yang telah dihasilkan karena inspirasi perjalanannya. Dalam sesi ini, Ummu Hani juga telah berbaik hati menganugerahkan 4 buah novel karyanya sebagai cendera hati kepada para peserta workshop yang beliau nilai sebagai 4 karya terbaik penulisan sebuah paragraf seperti dalam novel. Dari para pemenang, terungkap bahwa sesungguhnya banyak bakat terpendam yang mereka bisa gali untuk memulai menghasilkan karya yang bisa dinikmati khalayak ramai. Dengan demikian, workshop ini telah dilihat mencapai tujuannya dalam mengenalkan dan memberi arahan awal akan lahirnya penulis-penulis muda nusantara.

Btw, i was one of the four who won the book from Ummi Hani Abu Hassan. I won it because my one-paragraph writing was voted by her as one of best 4 submitted after workshop. She complimented as she said reading mine was like reading Andrea hirata‘s (Laskar Pelangi and its tetralogy novels’ writer). Waooow..!! a strong kicking start motivation then!! ahahaha..loollz.. I Know she’s kind enough to motivate her pupil, actually. But one of my fellow friend said thru YM he agreed with the novelist. I think i’m blushing now. ahahaha…btw, The book title is ” Suu Phea : Cinta Gadis Myanmar”. Reading it at a glance, i found it interesting and made me unable to wait to read it fully. But now is finals, i need to focus first. When i finish reading, i will share the content with all of you here. Perhaps then i will read those books by her as i found it was interesting to listen to her explanation during the workshop.

I also had chance to meet with nasyid singer from sabah, malaysia who came to accompany Ummi hani, the novelist, who is her friend. I just managed to figure out she is an artist who frequently appears in Malaysian TV ( I dont know as i dont have TV..T_T..no TV for whole of my study here,,i guess..T_T..) after my friend from PPIM told me so. Well, if it werent, then i would ever never know. Hehehehe..I dont have TV!! T_T. Yet it can mean i was honest to talk to her regardless she is artist or not. correct?? ahahaha… Btw, She is Farah Leia Az-zahra, a nasyid singer (and also composer!! dont mistakenly think only singing she does..). I was surprised with her humbleness and down to earth attitude as i didnt expect nowadays artist would have such attitude after drunken with popularity..ehehehehe..:P Well, i might be wrong. :p. but that’s my dumb opinion. after doing some googling on the net, i found lots of interesting facts that unfortunately i wont share with all of you here as i respect her privacy. Yet, those discoveries just add up my admiration to an artist (farah leia) that so different from i expect an artist would be. .:)

I didnt know why, i suddenly got myself pictured with her..yet that time i was laughing because i was shy..ahahaha..soo embarrassing of me…lolz..

Final Exam for Trimester 2008/2009 will soon begin. A Battlefield is open now!!

I marked the end of the lecture and study weeks of this trimester by finishing Technopreneurship Venture‘s class at Thursday 7th of May 2009. Remember this subject i mentioned earlier in my early entry? This was damn boring and hated subject for me as i dont like business-related subject. However, in this subject i was required to design a master plan for our business like a blue print on how a company will be set up since its early conception until steadily managing growth in future years involving all those accounting part, ads part, managerial part, technical part, etc. That last Thursday i and my team have presented to the lecturer. We’re done with this subject. Bye bye and dont ever come back again!!! I wont take this subject and alike again in future..Gosh, it was too boring and uninteresting…However, that also means a scary thing, FINAL EXAM is IN FRONT OF MY EYES….T_T..haizz..could we have a bit rest? well,to me,we always could..ahahahaha..but i did do some little preparation concerning final is just around the corner. at Friday, i joined a collaboration program by Institusi Usrah, UPG, Silat cekak+Gayung,SRC,SRM titled “QIYAMULLAIL PERDANA menyambut masa final exam TRIMESTER 3 08/09″. I was joining together with shahmi and rezal in this program. We had talk and speech about tips in exam from ex-MMUians who now is FET’s lecturer. Then we had time to sleep to wake up the day after earlier at 4.4opm to have sholat tahajjud, and sholat haajat together to pray successful final exam in front of us. The time to sleep was given from 1am to 4.30am but i spent it mostly accompanying shahmi to eat and to have some chit-chat. In the end, we slept at 3.20am and alhamdulillah we managed to wake up still at 4.40am. Now, my soul, my heart is more ready and relaxed to face final exam. Hope i can repeat my achievement like those trimester-trimester before this trimester. I dont want to disappoint my parents. Amiin ya Allah..Insya Allah…hope this effort blessed by Allah SWT…i sincerely give all my best for Allah SWT..amiin..

Badminton : Adli’s early B’day. Juza’s Prank B’day. 2 B’day in a row in a week. =)

Pheww..been away from my blog for a week and plus, i miss the moment typing a simple thought of mine in my blog. Well, now it’s the time updating my blog. The first log in my mind is about 2 b’day i was involved to celebrate. They were adli’s and juza’s. So here it is :

ADLI’s

Actually, his b’day is not at the time we celebrated that was 2nd of may, 2009. His is actually 24th of May, 2009. Considering it will be in the mids of final exam and it will be hard to gather people, we brought adli’s b’day forward. It was the idea of adli’s GF (putri) and i helped her to realize. Adli’s b’day was started with a sport activity : playing badminton. I missed playing badminton for quite sometimes, then i asked putri to have an hour match before outing to celebrate. She agreed and then we went out playing at Sport Planet : International at Cheng district, Batu Berendam Malaysia. Well, actually behind the scene of this badminton’s realization, i and putri have been through lots of obstacles like difficulty finding the other venue so that our plan to play at 8pm was still ongoing (We planned at 8pm to start, but then we had it 10pm due to unreasonable reason given by the sport hall management). But then we failed to get, it meant that we must follow the decision by our previous booked court in that venue. Besides we had hard time to find better venue, we went thru some times to prepare adli’s cake and present. Thank god i was able to help putri. Everything was so sudden, yet we manage to have those all. So, that nite we played badminton together with others like shahmi,budin,izzul,ailyn,rosmalina, KA. After that, we ate at klebang to celebrate adli’s b-day. Happy Birthday Adli!! Wish you be a good boy and my always partner in crime…!! Hehehehe…

JUZA’s

Few days later on, it was juza’s turn. It was started when fateen out all of sudden sent me sms at 5pm to gather at a food stall at 7.45pm to celebrate juza’s. I then asked fateen whether i was to bring white fluor and egg to give her some “nice memory” b’day.ahahahaha..my evil thought taught by adli was emerging that day.Uuuppss..sorry adli…lolz. Well, the party begun after we finish eating dinner and suddenly mamad brought a cake to the food stall. then the action was begun. I cracked eggs at juza’s shoulder, pour powder(fluor) and even hit her by flour. Ahahahaha..so satisfying seeing her covered wholly in a fluor. She was stinky smelly..yaikss..i succeeded then!! ahahahaha…anyway, Happy B’day juza!! Wish all the best for you…

I happened to be very lonely tonight and was a bit bored with lots of workloads like Photo Editing, Blue Print of Business Plan, Some Stuffs regarding an interview to Japan Embassy, Project IT Research, and Teaching Material.and so on. I then got stumbled upon on the net finding funny video and what is currently famous on the netsociety. It’s so niceeeeeee the video i have found!!
